Yes, and 10 seconds of thought shows that it's a *great* answer if you need
to have some security theater so you can be seen Doing Something About The
Problem.

The part that *worries* them is that the sheeple wake up and realize it's
theater and decide to give the perpetrators a *real* security issue in the
form of tar and feathers.
