Hello,

I have not seen any extraordinary failure rates on any particular brand
of hard disk drive in my department (dozen people, but lots of servers,
notebooks, etc.).  So far, good experiences with Hitachi (SAS), Samsung,
Seagate and Western Digital on 3.5" HDDs, and with Hitachi, Samsung,
Seagate, Toshiba and Western Digital on 2.5" HDDs.  Sample size may be
too small to reveal any trends, though.
